Hadley Yates was named Executive Director in 2020. She has over ten years of experience in non-profit management. Hadley previously served as the founder and director of the Mano y Mente Artist-in-Residence Program in New Mexico, as an Associate Project Director of the AMIGOS community development organization in Paraguay, as Community and Artist Liason for 40th St. AIR in Philadelphia, and as an urban design subcontractor for organizations such as NM Main Street.
Via the arts and urban design, Hadley has worked to stimulate economic activity, neighborhood revitalization, and community engagement. She has a Master of City and Regional Planning degree from the University of Pennsylvania with a specialization in urban design and a Bachelor of Art degree in anthropology from Wellesley College with a minor in philosophy. In her free time, Hadley is an avid painter who in a “past life” exhibited oil paintings in New England and in the Southwest.
