Instruction on surface decoration as well as glazing techniques will be taught. A new project will be introduced each week to build students’ skill sets. We will refine our paintings through the process of layering, color mixing and painting technique. Inspiration will be provided through varied subject matter such as still life, landscapes or interiors. Students are encouraged to submit images or one will be supplied prior to the start of class. All skill levels are welcome in this fun and relaxing atmosphere.

Details: Students explore and experience new approaches to hand building functional pottery and sculptural forms using paper clay. Techniques such as slab work, coiling, pinching and darting will be reviewed.
