INSTRUCTOR Applications

We are always looking to expand our programming at the Art Center. Do you have an idea for a workshop or would you like to teach a class for a semester? If you'd like to join our team as an instructor please submit the following to jobs@whitemarsharts.org

1. A resume listing your education and teaching background.

2. A list of a few courses you are qualified to teach. Please include at least one course that's different than what we currently offer.

3. The estimated number of hours each proposed course needs per class and the weekdays and times you would currently be available to teach that course. We realize that your times and availability are subject to change.

4. Most of our courses are taught in-person or live online. However, if we are considering hiring you for an online course that includes video tutorials, we may request a 5-minute video tutorial example.

5. Prior to finalizing a teaching contract, we will request contact information of two references. Ideally, these should be people who can speak to your experience as an arts educator. Supervisors preferred.

6. Instructors will be required to complete all PA Department of Human Services mandated clearance background checks prior to teaching.

7. Please submit applications to jobs (at) whitemarsharts.org addressed to "hiring manager." All initial correspondence will be by email. Please no calls, letters, or emails to our other email addresses.

We look forward to hearing from you!
