Camp ARCHIVE 2024 -

Join us for Summer creativity and fun. Children will be inspired by our weekly programs, giving them a chance to learn and create in new ways. Explore using a mixture of media from clay to paint, fibers, collage, printmaking and drawing. Something new each day!

Our summer art camp is open to children ages 6–10. Children must bring a snack, drink and lunch. We will take a short outdoor recess in the park playground.

Parents are invited to come 15 minutes early on the last Friday of camp, for a small art show of all children’s work.

Teachers: Christine Walinski

Details: Get creative with extremely colorful projects in all mediums such as paints, pastels and papers! They will learn all about color mixing, complementary colors and how to use color to create pleasing artwork. On our last day, we will tie-dye our own tee shirts! Smocks or “art clothes” are suggested.

Class Size and Safety: Eight students max per class. In-person classes have reduced class sizes to accommodate indoor social distancing. Vaccinations are required.

Ages: This course is open to ages 6 - 10 years.

Materials: The course cost includes materials.

Details: Explore landscapes of the oceans and forests, including the creatures that live there. They will create many fun projects based on nature and work in all mediums! On our last day, we will tie-dye our own tee shirts! Smocks or “art clothes” are suggested.

Details: In this short week students will create masterpieces in various mediums such as paint, collage and printmaking. We will explore concepts such as landscapes, still lifes and self portraits. Smocks or “art clothes” are suggested.
